Resources
We recognize that we are not able to provide all of the resources someone may need, but we work with many other organizations that are able to help in fields we are not able to. Below is a list of these organizations and an interactive map of where they are located:
Temporary Housing Solutions
The Fort Wayne Rescue Mission offers temporary housing for individuals needing a place to stay. Space is limited, and reserved for individuals who are not actively using drugs or consuming alcohol. This organization also offers clinicals during select hours and food on a limited basis.
The Shepard's House is an all-male facility focused on helping veterans in crisis. They provide housing, food and other amenities, as well as a recovery center located on campus called "Choices Recovery", which provides intensive and Christ-based long term recovery.
St. Joesph Missions is a women's shelter providing resources and housing for women who are single and at higher risk for trafficking. This organization is Christ centered and offers many opportunities to grow within the context of community.
Brightpoint offers housing solutions for families needing a place to stay. In addition to housing, bright point offers many additional resources that help families in the midst of adversity.
Food Pantries
Miss Virginia's Food Pantry is located just blocks south of downtown Fort Wayne, and offers services to help provide food and nutrition to those who don't have other options.
