Clothing Drive
We are working with Upward Sports for the third year in a row to collect winter weather gear for those who don't have the proper clothing for these colder months. Donations can be brought in during teams practice times or on game days, and placed in the baskets associated with each team. Upward sports is a youth sports program focused on promoting Christian values and good sportsmanship for all participants, and is a critical organization that is advancing the Gospel to many younger people in our community and nationwide.
Clothing Drive Logistics
This years clothing drive will follow a point system, where teams will "shoot baskets" and either earn one point, two points or three points depending on their donation type. The team with the highest score based on points at the end of February will be the winner, and receive a trophy and donuts. The second and third placed teams will also receive donuts the morning of the last game. If all teams combined raise over 1,000 donations total, then all the referee's and some Revive volunteers will be pied in the face at every halftime the final week of the season. Below is the scoring system for points per donation type:
1 Point- Hats, Hand Warmers
2 Points- Sleeping Bags, Blankets, Coats
3 Points- Gloves, Socks
